She’s ANGE when she streams, but she’s Angellyne Deluvio to her closest friends and loved ones. She’s a young Pinay gamer and aspiring musician that the world can see.

The Beginning

Angellyne started her love of gaming when she was young. “I’m not a fan of PC Games before. I actually started with console games. Then, I started streaming when I had my PS4, so I can directly stream my games on YouTube,” she said.

When the pandemic came, one of the ways to cope with the situation was gaming. In December 2020, she built her passion for gaming and live streaming by building her own gaming computer. Some of the first items she bought were RAKK Gears items like RAKK Kaptan RGB Gaming Mouse and RAKK Lam-Ang Pro Wireless Gaming Keyboard.

 “When the game Rules of Survival was still trending, I upgraded my gaming mouse to RAKK Kaptan. However, as I prefer wireless gaming, I immediately bought RAKK Talan as soon as it was released,” she happily shared.

Recently, our 23-year-old Pinay has been playing various adventure games such as Tomb Raider and Resident Evil, but what she’s more into are First-Person Shooter (FPS) Games like Apex Legends and Valorant. This Pinay Gaming Streamer said she knows how to adjust her roles in games – such as when their team needs a duelist, sentinel, or controller.

The Advantages

This Valorant streamer discussed the advantages of playing and streaming PC games.

One of which is she was able to find great friends among her fellow PC gamers. ANGE reminisced, “I was a solo player before because I’m introvert. I’m really afraid to socialize with other people that I don’t personally know. But when I started gaming, I became more confident to reach out and make new friends.”

Engaging activities with her viewers are also her asset in live streaming. In some of her live streams, she invites her followers to play with her. Or when she does adventure games, she connects with them through reading their comments and sharing her thoughts.

ANGE aspires to be a great gamer like those she looks up to, and practice has definitely improved her skills. Aside from learning effective strategies and developing quick response time, gaming has also helped her improve her focus, and even expand her vocabulary – skills that she says “can apply in real life, like work and other stuff that she does.”

As part of improving her skills, her gaming gears are helpful not only in winning games, but also in enjoying the experience. Our Pinay RAKK Talan and RAKK Lam-Ang Pro user said, “I enjoyed playing PC games with RAKK Gears because of the gaming experience it gives me.”  She shares that the wireless features and the long battery hours of these products give her a more convenient and comfortable experience. She also likes that her Rakk Gears are just the right size and weight for her hands. Lastly, she enjoys Talan’s smooth mouse skates and very responsive sensors, which makes playing FPS games more effortless.

The Problems

As a starter in this gaming industry, she almost loses hope when all her efforts seem like they’re going to waste. It happened when she was starting and only had views from one to none. However, she reminded herself that this was just a step to be a successful streamer, “there’s no need to rush. Just stream your games, be yourself, and viewers will come to you.”

Last year, Angellyne confessed that there were times that she thought she would give up her passion in gaming and live streaming, especially since her day job as a network engineer in a telecommunications company also keeps her busy.

“I stopped playing games and live streaming for a year because I invested my time more at work and personal activities. These two are the biggest challenges to continue my love for live streaming,” she said. However, our 23-year-old engineer is slowly getting back on her feet through time management and by being productive.

The Dreams

At present, this Pinay gamer has three dreams for her streaming career – to join tournaments, explore new content, and someday help the community.

Her plans this year are truly amazing. Aside from gaming gear, she aims to invest in equipment where she can also stream her love for music through drum covers. “As far as I visualize my career in live streaming, I hope I will have more viewers and more content to upload, especially in gaming and music,” she added.  

When she’s asked about her plans in joining tournaments, she simply said, “As of now, I am not playing professionally since my skills are not enough. There are a lot of girl players out there who are better gamers than me. But if someday I’ll be ready, I’ll join Valorant teams for girls.”

She also built her dream of helping the community of gamers. “I would also like to do giveaways to help my viewers who cannot afford gaming gears.” And as a Pinay gamer, ANGE wants that someday she “can help the community of female players in the gaming community that we can also play competitive games and can be in the professional scene.””

She started dreaming when she was young, and now Angellyne is going through the process of fulfilling her goals. Her dreams are not only for her, but for every single Filipina who wants to venture into gaming and live streaming. As the line goes, “Abante Babae!”
